The life span of the same quality lead acid battery is about 1-1.5 years, but the lithium iron phosphate battery will reach 7-8 years under the same conditions. Overall, the performance-price ratio of lifepo4 battery will be more than 4 times that of lead-acid batteries. Another important advantage of lifepo4 battery is that it is without memory effect: rechargeable batteries often work under full charged but no full discharged conditions, and the capacity is quickly lower than the rated capacity. This phenomenon is called memory effect.
